Cc & Bcc
If you have an e-mail address, then you most probably send e-mails to people.If you do, then there probably is a "To:" text field. Have you ever noticed what the "Cc" and "Bcc" mean or stand for? Here is your answer:
"Cc" stands for "carbon copy." It means that you send a copy of the message or e-mail to that person. (Examples are below.)
"Bcc" stands for "blind carbon copy." It means that you sent an e-mail two people, but only the one under "Bcc" knows the other got the message; the "To" does not know that the "Bcc" got it. (Examples are below.)
~Examples~
Person A = e-mail sender
Person B = a person that got the e-mail
Person C = another e-mail receiver
Person D = a third e-mail recipientIf A was to send a message to B, but put C and D in the "Cc" box, then B, C, and D would get the exact same e-mail and each person would know the other was sent it.
If A was to send a message to B, but put C in the "Bcc" box, then B would get the e-mail but would not know that C received it, too. C, on the other hand, gets the e-mail and knows and B got it, also.

Mkay, what if you send it to a large group all in the Bcc?
Then the "To:" box is blank so it looks like you sent it to no one.
Whenever I use the Bcc box, I put my own e-mail address in the "To:" field, so it looks like the e-mail was sent to someone.
