Really: True or Outstandingly?

In case the title "Really: True or Outstandingly?" doesn't make sense, here's a break down:

If you were walking by some people who were having a conversation, but you had no idea about what they were talking about before you overheard. If one person was to say, "Now that was really good," what would you take that sentence as? Would you take it as, "Now that was truly good," or as, "Now that was extremely good"? Think about it.
