Cool Ideas #28

Aptera

Hopefully by October 2008, people will be able to buy Aptera, a car getting 300 miles per gallon, for less than $30 thousand. This car is extremely cool. It has LED lights, solar panels used for air conditioning (that continue running while the car is off!), and only three wheels! By the way, in Greek, Apterameans wingless.
